Funimation "Roll-out Riot" Talkback

I'm really hoping with Paris slated to complete the show, FUNimation might give this a real go. However, considering the much American-in-tone Beck didn't fare too well, I could see them being wary of another music series (even though Nodame's a shojo series.) At this point though, I'd settle for subonly sets via Sentai or RightStuf though (though this would be hot to run after Nana and Ouran on the FUNi channel, and that means a dub.)

And they need to make those announcements some other time. The anime fans are the vast majority of the ones that are paying attention to this Roll Out Riot.

Let's hope it's an actual new license and not just a re-release of a former Geneon-or-ADV property. And yeah, I'm hoping for Higurashi Kai too.

I do not think need the former is necessary, nor the latter as much. Putting out live action films hardly means the end of the world. It just means there is one more product of theirs out on the shelf for purchase.

...what for? Animation still occupies an extremely high percentage of their catalog. I'm actually glad to see them branching out a bit.

Ever think that, maybe, FUNimation is mixing in their live-action fare with the anime so that people will, y'know, notice them? They're an anime company, first and foremost, and thus, most of their fans are anime fans. Why would FUNimation's followers pay attention to their live-action films unless they make them pay attention?
