Indeed, I find it to be very stupid.
I really don't see any reason for Dragon Ball Kai to air on TV.

Nope! I like it!
It would probably do well, it would reintroduce Dragon Ball to a younger audience, a TV run could only expand Dragon Ball's already considerable popularity, and in the best case scenario it might help create incentive to give other anime a shot on television if it does do well. Meanwhile, there's certainly no down side to it.
Meh, Im myself, personally don't have the same hyperactive desire to see anime be some sort of mainstream figurehead that most followers of the stuff do these days. I don't foresee networks being receptive to the material anymore, and even if they show some interest I certainly don't see a Silver Age of anime on TV ever coming to remind fans of their happy golden days of yore. In this age the internet plays a key part amongst our youth, so if anyone has any burning desires to get the word out, I'd suggest one does it there. TV might never go away, but that hardly means the internet's not going to continue to gain prominence.
Where's my cane?
It would be great if the series were shown on a major kiRAB network. I renewed popularity would be great for Dragon Ball. It may even give some incentive to bring over new toys, new Dragon Ball Dragon Boxes, or new Daizenshuu.
Well, it will be cool to get DB back on TV again. I mean, how long has it been DB was air in TV? 2004? 2005? So, bring DBKai along will be ok, but who will get it?
CN is not accepting anime anymore. Even if CN gets DBKai, there will be a lot of edits. Much more from the 90's I bet.
Disney XD, maybe. But I really doubt XD will pick up DBKai.
Well the last time DBZ aired on TV was 2008 on Toonami. I could almost see CN getting DB Kai or even Disney XD. It'll for sure bring in ratings but most of the viewers are older now. It would really depend if it worked with the new generation.
