Many answers I get in like 30 minutes

And then I see I have an answer so I click my question

Then a day later I check again and I still have only 1 answer on that same question

It's like when I click to see how many answers I have on my question, I suddenly stop receiving answers

WHAT GIVES?????? please help me fix this
