I have tried the app and the stock app and must say i prefer the stock app over the cute pretty gmail java application.
I have an outlook contact book that i sync so the gmail list is redundant. The only real advantage to it is that if you like adding stars (flags) to your email.
^^ AND if you know how to work with labels which make sorting tons of emails a snap.
Man, the most underused feature in gmail.
I don't need that cuz once I read an email, it's over, finished, deleted.
If it's left in my inbox then it's important
But I can relate to your need as I used to flag stuff for various reasons on MS Outlook.
In the stock email app, you can always mark as UNREAD anyways if you wanna keep a msg highlighted
Has anyone got this working on either an N80 or with Voda UK? I've installed and it loads fine, but when it tries to connect (regardless of which access point I use) it fails. My N80 has the following:
Vodafone GPRS
Vodafone GPRS (01)
Vodafone Internet
Vodafone int
Vodafone WAP
Vf Post ISP
None of these seem to work. I can access the web just fine using the built-in browser, but not via this app.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Tom
