    I'm 6' and 1 1/2" and weigh almost 180. I want to get a Kawasaki 250 Ninja. Am I...

...too big for this bike? Will I be too big for this bike? Will I look stupid because of how much bigger I will be compared to the bike? Or will it look like a good fit to my size. I'm thin just a little tall, but not too tall. Please be truthful and I havant seen one in person (2003 model) do they look relatively nice, or do they look kind of small and cheap? Thanks for the answers. I'd like to communicate a little bit more about this so email me at [email protected] if you can kind of discuss this over with me and I'm in the process of buying a bike, if you can help me out with that as well. Thanks again!

yes, you are prob. way too HUGE for this tiny machine
if you're 100% on buying I'd suggest you buy a 2008 model much better styling...(sportsbike look)
all older model of the 250cc~500cc of the ninja are really old/small/street bike looking...not sporty at all....until 2008 if you're in the US the 500 is still not updated yet...

if you're that tall I'd get atleast a 600cc and up...
    2008 zzr 600 (the old ninja zx6r)

itll be like a high school kid
    playing with a hot wheels
    you need a bigger bike
but if you dont have experience riding
then its a good starter bike

    If you're after a 250, get a Hyosung GT250 (naked) or GT250R (faired).

They use the same bike frame as the 650, so works well for the larger rider.

im about that weight and size. if i was you i would go with an sv650. people recomment that for beginners. it has a good gear ratio so you dont fall, but it has power also, more than a 250. and if you like the style then it would be a good bike to learn on. the 2008 ninja is ok. you may be able to get away with it but once you learn well you'll grow out of it rapidly. check out the sv650 and see if you like it. i started on a 750 because i have a motocross background. and hey its better to get a HUGE FAST bike and be safe and take it real easy, than to get a small bike and want something faster
