Bing for WinMo 6.5 and 6.1 now with turn-by-turn voice

This new version was apparently released 5/12/2010.

Bing? for mobile

I'm installing it now. I've read it's not for Verizon phones (not sure why, other than they probably don't want it to compete with their own navigation app).

As much as I dislike Bing, turn by turn voice navigation is a welcome addition. It's a shame Google hasn't brought that to WM yet.

So far, it seems like a winner. The only loss is the link to local gas prices, but I think I'll live w/o that.

But of course... there are hardly any devices with a square screen resolution. Many apps act wonky on my device. :P

Neat app. No issues, even though Bing says my device isn't officially supported. Well worth looking into. I'm gonna tweak the title of this thread to reflect the updated versions supported.

If the app comes back and says your device isn't supported, and then quits, here's some directions on how to make it work:

Go into open \Program Files\Bing\Bing.config with a text editor. Look for the entry
""
change "True" to "False"
