It seems that Brian and Quagmire have patched things up, as per FG's fast and loose continuity.

I'm actually intrigued by this episode. If it's done well, it could be the first time a Brian episode has dealt with a topical scenario well.

Brian has hung out with the guys many times. Doesn't necessarily mean that Quagmire likes him.

Whoa! A Joe and Quagmire sub plot? Sounds interesting!

We don't know that. Brian could be going to the drunken clam with Peter for a certain reason and there might be a reference to last weeks episode.

Plus last week seemed like a one-time thing, however they could be hanging out and Quagmire just puts up with him.

Continuity has never been a high priority on Family Guy. Case in point, Meg has been portrayed as being friendless in some episodes, but she will have friends in others.

To add on: There has to be reason. I'm guessing Brian might have tried again with Quagmire and Quagmire could've been set off again which leads Brian to drink.

Family Guy's not good with continuity and was this episode produced before last weeks? FOX has a tendency to air episodes out of production order.

Yeah, Jerome is the New Black was episode 8 in production.

Exactly. I highly doubt that the Quagmire/Brian thing is going to come up in this episode at all, much less be referenced in any future episodes. Family Guy has never been continuity-heavy.
