Looking for a cartoon

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a cartoon that my dad once saw when he was young. He saw it in Russia, but that may or may not be the country of origin.

The cartoon is about a high tech autonomous tank built to hunt and kill aboriginals. Somehow this tank ends up on a deserted island, only inhabited by a single tribe. It settles there and defends it later on. That's all he remembers, it was about 30 years ago. Can anyone help me out?
