Does age have a lot to do with the length between cycles?

I am 34. I was on the birth control for 10 years minus my 2 pregnancies. I got a blood clot in my leg almost a year ago, and since then have been off of hormonal birth control. Before I was on birth control, my cycles were 34 days apart. 11 years later, and after the blood clot in my leg, my cycles are only 25 days apart. Fortunately, though, my periods are also shorter, lasting about 3 days.

Would this probably have to do with my age...or maybe years of birth control...or maybe something else? Thanks.

Because in the late 40s you'll start slowly changing until periods end by the age of 54 it is not advisable for women to get pregnant after forty despite it can happen. It has to do with health and sustaining a healthy pregnancy.
