I am unsure of what your asking exactly but here goes.
I presume the Sony Ericsson is a phone, with an 8gb memory card... I am guessing you have maybe copied all the install files from a windows install cd onto the memory card... if so...
No, generally it will not work. In order to install windows you need to boot from the memory card (the phone is largely irrelevant and just a holder in this case). A card reader adapter can be used to convert the card into a USB device, but you cannot boot with it unless it contains a boot sector like the install CD. If you made the card bootable (it would be like a bootable USB stick) then I guess it may be theoretically possible, although seems like a lot of hassle when you can just use the original cd you create the bootable copy from.
It may be possible to perform an upgrade by booting into windows, but it would depend on the version you are going to and from. Sorry if this is a little vague, but it is the best answer I can give with the info you supplied.
