how do you know how much debris buildings that size would throw up?

and im saying, if the building looks like it fell like a demo, it probably fell like a demo. Thats why they place the charges like that, so it pancakes. Otherwise yes, larger chunks might just tip over and fall off sideways, it doesnt break any laws of gravity. And likely the central support beams would still remain partly intact.
