so yesterday i changed the oil on my ford escort and i done everything correctly. any way as i went to start the car the engine was vibrating like mad. so as i pulled away i noticed blue/white smoke from the exhaust. i thought it would clear up as the car haddent been run for about 2 weeks then there was no power and it sounded like it was misfiring.

i got it home and checked it and i haddent put the dipstick in fully so i had overfilled the engine simple mistake but likely to be a costly one.

what damage do you think has been done to the engine? is it worth trying to get repaired? i only paid 150 for the car 3 years ago.
