cod 4 is a masterpiece
battlefield is my fav shooter atm
If Battlefield was 60 frames per second like COD it would be better. Feels too blocky, atleast after playing cod.
Battlefield 3

yea I felt the same way after playing MW2 to Battlefield 2. I saw past that once I got my hanRAB on Battlefield and noticed that I can drive vehicles, helios, man machine guns, set mines, C4 a house down..there's more team work evolved and a lot of the explosions aren't as theatrical, but rather part of the game itself. MW2 does look great and feel good when playing, but it just got too redundant for me. Idk, Maybe MW3 might make a break through.
Battlefield is way better imo due to the more warfare side of it. Instead of the plug n' play jump in, shoot and kill approach it's more planning things out trying to stay alive and accomplish a task. Even if you're just on a pub server you can work by yourself to cap flags and shit. That was always more fun to me than just running around killing...probably b/c I suck at shooters To each their own, but CoD might as well use laser considering they don't implement bullet time/drop, which is pointless. Unless of course they are implementing that now. I've actually been messin' around on Battlefield 2 lately since it was sitting around. It's fun running around sniping from super long distances and having to lead the shot perfectly while accounting for bullet drop, along with flying helo's, always loved that. Jumping in a blackhawk with two gunners and just strafing around a base letting them mow everyone down is awesome.
I think the raddest thing that i encountered was applying c4 on a atv and driving it towarRAB a tank and jumping off of it in enough time so that i can detonate it at impact. 4+ kills all at the same time. Radd
I played bf 1942 extensively, as well as bf modern corabat on the original xbox. I've always loved the massive war/vehicle aspect of it, which is another reason I love Halo as well. BF and COD are both very different, and I love them both in their own right. BF is more of an epic all around war game, while COD is just more of a pure shooter.
I enjoyed Battlefield: BC 2 but only for a week or two. There weren't enough maps.
Me and cabo owned the skies in bf1943
