According to Leo Loporte...he sees no real honest changes in the new OS. Basically Apple use to have like 7 gigs of languages that are never used. So they removed them and now claim it's faster.

my startup time used to be like 6 minutes, now it's under 1. And it connects to wireless pretty much instantly after waking up. there's definitely some changes that have made it faster. i havent noticed photoshop being any faster though.

It's definitely faster. A buddy of mine installed it yesterday and when he rebooted his machine started up on the previous Monday.

i have a copy waiting for me since monday that i haven't installed yet, only 9.99 w/ a new mac. it was a no brainer for me --- but if yours isn't new you can do what a lot of ppl i know are doing. find 4 ppl that want it (or convince 4 ppl they need it) and split a family pack which includes 5 serials for 50 bucks.

i think all the internal upgrades are definitely worth it, from what i've read anyway.
