Woman arrested for drunken sex in cab

A British woman could face jail time in Dubai after being arrested for allegedly having drunken sex in the back seat of a taxi in the Islamic state.

Rebecca Blake, 29, a businesswoman who works at a recruitment firm in Dubai, and Conor McRedmond, an Irish national, were both taken into custody May 4 for allegedly having sex outside marriage and being drunk in a public place, according to local reports.

Both charges carry jail time in the country.

British tabs have gone to town on the story, with the U.K. Sun's screaming headline Thursday: "Busty Becky Blake...on bail over a bonk in Dubai" following Wednesday's front page: "Beauty banged up for bunk-up."

The Sun reports friends and family are now caring for Blake, who was reportedly released after spending five days behind bars awaiting bail.

The Telegraph reported the pair have been asked to hand over their passports while the investigation continues, which includes a search for "forensic evidence."
