I am considering trying to take my car sound system and create a home theater setup. I would get a 5.1 home theater receiver and use my Alpine Type-G 2way car speakers and make some mdf or fiberglass enclosures.

Right off the bat i understand the sound quality can not compare to a medium-high price range home theater system but if it is comparable to a cheap set ( i was looking at monoprice's set for $85) i might give it a try. Hey it may sound a lot louder, i also have a 12" kicker comp in a 2^3 ft sealed enclosure with an Alpine V-power amp i could add to the setup with a computer power supply unit.

So, down to the details of my proposed setup.
I like this receiver http://www.crutchfield.com/p_033AV1612/Denon-AVR-1612.html
These Alpine 6x9's for the fronts http://www.crutchfield.com/S-AiivwkQT3GB/p_500SPG69C2/Alpine-SPG-69C2.html
These 5-1/4's for surround http://www.crutchfield.com/S-4Sp5pJqI7P0/p_500SPG13C2/Alpine-SPG-13C2.html

Beyond that is of little concern. Will the receiver have any difficulty powering these? Will it sound pretty good or would i be better off buying this http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=109&cp_id=10906&cs_id=1090601&p_i d=8247&seq=1&format=3#specification
