Hi folks! I need help. I live in Miami dade and down here it rains a lot sometimes. When this happens, and specially when I am driving and I drive over a large puddle, or a little flooded area about 3 inches of water it starts immediately to make a sharp noise, like the belt on the engine is making that noise, and then the battery signal appears on the dashboard the steering gets hard, and I have to apply the breaks and accelerate at the same time so that it does not turn off. I spoke to a friend of mine before taking my car to a mechanic, and he told me based on what I was describing, it sounds like something is missing on the bottom of the car such as a plastic cover. I checked the car underneath and nothing is missing. Any body has had this experience, what could that be?
I appreciate your advice.
Jorge.
