I'm a recovering iv drug addict and trying to replace bad behaviors with good ones. problem is while getting sober I've noticed I have been gaining weight and its making me really anxious and wanting to use. so I remembered I have this stationary bike..it's really low to the ground it's not like what they really have in spin classes or anything because you lean back while you ride kind of instead of sit straight up really high. but it does break a sweat. I plan to ride it on almost full resistance at about 10-12mph for an hour each day. and also try to eat about 800-1,000 calories a day. think this will help me lose some weight so I can be less anxious? or should I find a different exercise to do?
