A 'Seller' is giving away something free on Craigslist. It's free but has maybe a $13 value and some electric parts that are claimed to be working.

A 'Buyer' emails the seller, gives their phone # and asks the seller to call them to set up a time and place, or for the seller to send their phone #.

Seller blocks their phone # and calls buyer to set up a time and place. During the conversation, the buyer keeps asking for the sellers phone # to make things easier because buyer doesn't know the exact time they'll be able to pick up the item. The seller doesn't want to tell their phone number but says they'll email it.

Instead of emailing their phone #, the seller emails the buyer a minute after the phone call and literally messages: "I will be at this location at 12pm or whenever is best for you." And gives directions to an address of a store.

The buyer never responded to the email untill the next day at 12pm saying they're almost there. At 12:25, buyer emails again saying they don't see the seller. At 12:35, buyer emails again telling the seller that the seller didn't show up.

At 4:30pm, the seller emails the buyer back saying that they didn't expect the buyer to be there because the buyer didn't confirm the time or that they read the email that had the directions and time. Seller says they can bring it to the same location any time if the buyer confirms the time.

The buyer emails back and says ok to set up a new time and to call them.

The seller blocks # again and calls to set up a time, but buyer still wants seller's phone number and the deal gets cut off and is disregarded.
