I observed the moon for two hours and found the initial altitude to be 37.5 degrees, an hour later it was 30 degrees and an hour later it was 18.75 degrees. I also measured it's degrees from south and iniitally it was 82.5 degrees, an hour later it was 78.75 degrees, and an hour later it was 75 degrees. How do I find how well the moon's observed motion fits with the idea that it moves about 15 degrees west every hour using the pythagorean theorem?? Can someone please explain? Thank you!!!
i am in the northern hemisphere and the moon was rising
just kidding it was rising
