I need some insight from Marine Biologists, or people that know a lot about the field itself. I have had my heart set on this career since 5th grade and I am a senior in high school. I have done research on this career, obviously finding colleges and what-not, but I live in a land-locked state so it's very difficult for me to actually talk to people about it. Every website I read says something different and every college I visit says it's a promising career as long as I'm willing to re-locate, but are they going to tell me otherwise if they want me to attend the university? Mainly, what I'm looking for is the pay.. Is it worth it? Not saying I am in it for the money, BUT I would like something sustainable. I know entry levels differ.. but still. Is it worth it? Thank you for your help.
