Does smoking affect your fitness if you train and do sports?

I play footie and do boxing and train and think I'm fit enough. I smoke about 15 a day for the last 3 years and am nearly 18 now and it doesn't seem to be a problem.

i am pretty sure that it affects your lungs and it kinda makes it harder to breath when u work out.

yes. It's bad no matter what. Just cuz you excersize, it's still bad for your lungs. Smoking actually slows you down on your boxing and everything else. It's so unhealthy I can't even tell you. I'm not telling you to do this, but I recomend quiting. You will die sooner if you smoke.
