    the beauty of honda engineering. the more amazing part is the 9000rpms it can rev up to before redlining. thats more amazing

    i agree with "D"
    VTEC- double overhead cams
    my 07 si redlines at 8000 rpms, i paid 15k for that car
    my mom's 07 infiniti g35 redlines at 7500 rpms, she paid 45k
    sure he has about 100 more hp but she paid 30k more and she only runs about half a second faster 0-60.
    plus honda engines (vtech) handle bolt-on mods very well
    the beauty of honda engineering

    super/turbocharged? How a car 2.0cc[Honda s2000] is possible to produce 240hp without being super/turbocharged
    How civic type-r provides 201hp with the 2.0l engine while s2000 provides 40HP! more?What makes this huge difference on same cc engines from same mechanics?

    It's called engineering. This is one of the reasons american manufacturers are falling behind year after year. Not just the S2000, but even the 99-00 Civic SI was a 1.6 liter that made 160 HP, thats 100 hp per liter. Think about it like this: if a 5.7 liter "american" car made 570 hp what would the asking price be? $75,000-$100,000? More? The answer would be YES, they just cannot beat a car that came off the showroom floor, (S2000) that has a 2.0 liter and makes 120hp per liter.
