Thread: Is show jumping not a popular equestrian sport in America?

I know there is lots of really good show jumpers in America but I just asked a question about what disciplines people do and nobody said show jumping?
Yes, I understand that... but is there no such thing as pony show jumping, like what bezzie madden, laura kraut and ashley bond do with horses. The competitions that they hold in Spruce Medows etc.

I think it's a very popular sport. America has many organizations that involve show jumping, hunter, equitation, etc. They have camps to teach this and many schooling shows for those just starting.
As for "pony show jumping" I think it would be in a schooling show. In all the schooling shows I've been to, there's always pony classes!
