    i'm 16 and i've just started playing. also my school are doing lessons, and we have a turnout of about 20 people each week.
    I mean older golfers probably like it because it doesn't take all that much energy, and its very relaxing. Younger people only normally play on the weekend too, as they are at work, or in education

    no it's not really old person's sport ;D it's just because the younger generations are too engrossed in video games and footballs. anyways golf is a relaxing sport, not much sweat so i think this is why old people love it

    I think you'd have to be spending quite a bit of time on the golf course to know how many golfers have mobile phones. Maybe you've been spending more time on the golf course than you'd like to admit! lol
