I've owned Chevy trucks since I was 16 (I'm now 48). My most recent was a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 - 4 door with a 6.6 Turbo Diesel I bought new. I absolutely loved it! 2 weeks after the 1 year full coverage warranty expired, it started giving me problems...each problem just happen to cost a little over $1,200 and was a problem the Chevy mechanic always stated, "I've never seen that in a new truck!". At the third problem, I decided I had enough and traded for a Toyota and have been happy since...my Chevy only had 58,000 miles on it and was a daily driver. I wanted to tell Chevy that as long as they build crap they will lose against companies like Toyota...I'm not sure they even care, since greed has consumed our country, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to try.
Just for your info...I talked to the manager of the Chevrolet service department and the dealership manager...they simply told me I needed to contact Chevrolet.
