I'm a sophomore in college and looking to pursue an MBA right after graduation. I understand that it’s still early to be thinking about graduate school but I just feel that I need to prepare for the GMATs. I currently go to one of the top 25 business institutions in the country (idk if that counts towards applying to a selective university or not).

So my question is: Taking into account the GMAT scores, recommendations, essays, interview, etc.; what would you say I need to pull off in terms of these to-be-done items (listed above) to better my chances at a high-ranking MBA program like NYU or preferably any other prestigious university in NY such as Cornell, or Columbia.

Thank you.
