Can you tell if my wound is infected?

It smells so gross when i took the band-aid off, and it had greenish liquid on the band-aid where my wounds were! Should i have my mom or dad look at it?

Infected. You need to go to a hospital ER, get it cleaned, treated, and properly bandaged. And given antibiotics. An infected wound of any kind that is left untreated will not cure itself. It will get worse and worse, and cause many other problems. Tell mom and dad or don't tell. But get the thing treated properly. Good Luck.

it does sound infected. get some hydrogen peroxide, clean it with that, put some neosporin or an antibiotic ointment on it, cover with a bandage and see if that helps. If it gets worse or you get a fever call the doctor.

It sounds like it isn't healing properly. Wash it very well. Let it get some air if possible. When you go to bed tonight, put some Neosporin cream on it and cover it with a fresh bandage.

If it isn't better in the morning, definitely get some help from your parents or the school nurse.

In general, change your bandage when it gets dirty, when it gets wet or when you shower. Wash the wound when you change your bandage.

that is called an infection. EVER HEAR OF IT? at that stage your rather should tell a doctor. in the mean time TELL them and try to put some anti-septic on it, so it doesn't get to much worse. That is if you can manage that of course.

You are describing a superficial wound infection. Do show it to your folks: if they know first aid that's all the help you'll need.
