As a junior, I'm looking into colleges now and was wondering if anyone knew of a college that is:
-in new england
-is smallish
-has a lot of down-to-earth students (and is co-ed)
-has a wide selection of majors
-is not in the middle of no where
-Has hands-on teaching methods (verse a bunch of lecture halls...blech)
-Is nice, clean campus...no cold-looking buildings, trash littered from rowdy parties...I am really fond of the more natural-looking place that has surrounding trees, or perhaps a pretty landscape...
***-The college needs to puts some effort in making students feel welcome, has a lot of activities and has has a comfortable laid-back feel to it too
haha i know this is a near impossible list to fulfill but if anyone knows there is a college out there that has a majority of these things (the last being the most important) please share!
Thanks so much!
The college i LOVE is Champlain, in Vermont (my sister goes there). Its has almost everything, except it have a very limited selection of majors, which is a big problem for me, seeing as i'm not really sure i would like to pursue any of the ones they DO offer...
I'm also looking into Endicott (beverly, mass) so if anyone knows anything about that college, I would be grateful if you shared your knowledge.
