1990 suzuki katana 600 questions(just bought the bike)?

i would like to know what kind of fuel i should be using? regular or premium

what kind of oil i should use, it recommends 10-40 but its a older bike with 41,000 miles so i assume like with cars i should use a higher oil weight as it gets older

use the 10-40 oil, also start with regular gas , if it doesn't ping when your driving it, stick with regular. If it pings, don't sweat it but step up the octane level to the next grade. You will get 0 benefit from using a higher octane rating then you need to stop pinging.
