Thread: How old do gold fish get and how long do they get. ?

Mine are in a pond.
They are already 7 years old on 8" long. I have an outdoor cat that never bothers them.
They are common gold fish
A pond is a good environment. They freeze over in the winter and unthaw in the spring they have 2 babies 3 years old and 4” long. I started with a boy and a girl, don’t know what the babies are.

it depends on how big your pond is....my neighbor has a really big pond and he has about 30-40 huge gold fish that have been there for 8 years

if no cats or dogs... maximum a year
if its a saint

If they are in a pond, they may last for probly a few 3-4 years..
i dont really know..srry!

the longest gold fish in my family was about 4 inches but it didn't last to long maybe 6 months and we also had one that was smaller but it lived to be 6 years old

i have heard of them been over 20 but thats not likely because its in a pond where it will probably live 5 years maybe more

i have a koi pond....and my kois are 2 years old..they are huge at least 3feet in length.
