I just bought a stationary bike for my home and am looking forward to hopping on it each morning for a relatively intensive 30 minute workout. Even though it's low impact, my muscles seem to be having trouble getting back to a good point in time for me to do it every day. It's not like I'm doing intense training so it seems like something I should be able to do on a daily basis. Besides stretching and drinking a lot of water, what are some basic things I can do to help my leg muscles regenerate specifically for this purpose. Mainly, are there any easy things I can eat... maybe a banana or nuts or some particular vitamin supplement? I know there are a lot of things to do or take to help with this; I've seen them listed many times. But what are the main things that I should do that would help most, so I don't have to spend a lot of money and completely change my diet?
