I just got a new phone and i was wondering do i have to wait till the PAC number finishes to activate my vodafone sim card (because im keeping my number) or can i just activate it before...? any help please.

have you got the PAC frm ur ex-provider?..yes? than contact vodafone and get it transfered asap. dont wait for it to expire
