    can i use the internet on an unlocked iphone 3g with out the plan?

    i cant afford the iphone plan, if i unlock the iphone and i have an att phone 3g network unlimited internet and text can i unlock the iphone 3g and have internet or do i need the plan?

    They will find out and add the data plan to your service. This happened to my step son.They found out even though he wasn't going on the net with his. So don't use the iphone if you can't afford the data plan.
