I agree with Cowboy. But if it really needs a rebuild for some other reason, then a businessman would say NO! On the other hand, only you can decide what the bike is worth to you.
I have completely rebuilt a motor at a cost which exceeded the value of the bike, but riding is a hobby, not a business for me. No regrets!

Oil leaks have nothing to do with an engine rebuild. Oil leaks are usually caused by leaking seals or gaskets. A completely oil tight engine can be totally worn out.

my yamaha xtz 750 super tenere has 50.000miles on the clock is it worth an engine
rebuild? there is only a very very small oil leak at the moment but it was more for peace of mind,any thoughts?
