If they're accepting liability...they're accepting guilt.
It may be cheaper to be guilty....but that doesn't mean you're not accepting some form of responsibility.

since two hours ago, didn't you just read what he said? what are you man, some sort of STUPID?
If they are enforcing the laws then there is no price fixing and everyone is happy.
Even if there was price fixing in this particular instance...how much did it really effect anyone? Did you notice the price of eggs going up?
govt contracts are so fucked up already. If you find an honest one, tell me.
And why are fiscal conservatives in here defending the deliberate distortion of markets?
Since you mention it DCC: people get mad when the government breaks a market, but are fine when companies do it?
Isn't the whole point of arguing against government intervention that when government tries to 'correct' markets, it usually fucks them up worse?
If fucking up markets is what's bad, isn't it always bad?
Very well said. I find it interesting that the same group of people who played the moral high ground card when condeming a presidential blow job did not bat an eye when millions of manufacturing jobs where shipped to China for the sole sake of profits.
I also agree that the root cause is the American consumer and their lust for the lowest price. Middle America will piss and moan about the loss of jobs but middle America still flocks to Wal*Mart, pay day after pay day.
Even when a big business gets charged and convicted with price fixing....people defend the company.
Ok then, don't use milk as an example of anything to do with price. Or any other item that has price floors and shit.
(I already know your position, lew, aimed at others)
