Thread: Motorola Backflip Unlocking Troubles

I recently got a AT&T Motorola Backflip from eBay but I cannot unlock it. I have tried unlocking sites and AT&T support which say they can't release the codes until September 7th 2010. I'm in Canada so I can't even use AT&T period.

Is there any other way at all to get the unlock code for my phone? Any help is appreciated and if it works I can donate to you on PayPal to show my appreciation!

Same problem but i have 7 backflip, there is no solution. I asked for 10 seller codes. ATT implemented a new security to get the unlock code.

I am also seraching for a solution.

I am having the same problem. After entering wrong PIN codes, my phone got locked and it shows "device blocked" message. Any help will be highly appreciated. If you know an answer, please send it to [email protected]

Hello, mercadocel.

I shouldn't have entered that many codes, but don't you think it is silly by motorola to ask for PIN, when you need to enter unlock code?

Besides I have bought the phone from Amazon and it was supposed to arrive already unlocked, because I bought it out of data plan.

Let me know if you succeed in finding a solution to bring back the phone to its initial state.
