Thread: S45i data cable problem

I have an SL45i data cable that i can connect with vklay,Simoco ...software but i cant made it with my S45i(me45 before)
is this a different sehama cable if yes what is the difference

No, (as far as I remember) there is no difference between SL45 original cable and S45 one.
IMHO, the problem is that, to enter service mode and access flash, phone must be off, but original cable takes its power for PIN4 and this is not alimeted if phone is off.
So cable without an extern power supply cannot work if phone is off.
The power supply can be the sinc station, external 4,5 battery or from Serial port (as in not original calbe).
