I'm for Atonement all the way. So sad we're not gonna hear their speeches when they win.
Nice! Welcome! I should read the book when I have time.
I loved this movie! It was so sad, I was completely shocked at the ending...I had no idea [sp]that they both died. (in case anyone still hasn't seen it)[/sp]
I just got the book, I haven't started it yet though.
^^It's just heartbreaking, but outstanding. James McAvoy was just amazing, everyone was. This film should definitely get Oscar nods, if there's any justice!
Ooo, so excited for this movie! I've been trying to get to the book, but that just isn't happening right now. Sad. But, I have this to look forward to. I saw an interview in Cosmo with James and he talked about this movie and it sparked my interest. I also love both James and Keira, so it's a win-win situation.
:glow: Kate
I went to see it again today and I loved it even more the second time than I did the first...if that's even possible?
such a beautiful movie!
I saw this film a while ago when it first came out in the UK and thought it was amazing. I can't wait until it comes out on DVD, which I believe is the 4th february?
I went with a male friend of mine who loved it just as much as I did.
i watched atonement the other day. that's incredibly sad. and i think briony did a right thing to give Robbie and Cecilia their happiness in her novel. hope is always the best atonement.
the movie was really good.
i read the book before  its one of my favorites... i was worried how it would transition from book to movie but it was great. they didn't take out very much (unsual for that time of stuff).
i'd give it 4 stars
