NEWS: DGA nominations were released today!

Kathryn Bigelow - The Hurt Locker
Jason Reitman - Up in the Air
Quentin Tarantino - Inglorious Basterds
James Cameron - Avatar
Lee Daniels - Precious

what's cool is that that matches up exactly with my predictions I made yesterday. It's great news for Lee Daniels, who's probably hanging onto the fifth spot and knocking Clint Eastwood out. Also good news for Cameron! The first three were pretty much a lock already.

I just saw A Single Man tonight and LOVED it. Absolutely adored it and at this moment I would love to see Colin Firth win best actor. It looks as if Clooney is the frontrunner with Jeff Bridges as a spoiler, but Firth would just be a lovely dark horse for the win!
