Is a soy isolate enough of a protein to help with muscle building?

...or do I need to also use a complementary protein to get the best results?

Note: I'm lacto-ovo vegetarian, so my choices are somewhat limited.

Well it rules out meat products, but most people use whey protein to build muscle. You can buy supplements online or at a GNC store. If you can stick to natural proteins, they are safer and you wont "OD" on protein and damage your kidneys.
