    hmm,well least wap, talk and text will work using htc hero method

    My post count is nil, but I can confirm wap/talk and text using the hero method. I was able to do one today

    Awesome!!! I got the Hero and the Eris...both of them Talk,Text and Web...I know there is no way to get MMS working in the Hero but..What about in the Eris?....I can get into the MMS settings but they are blocked...does anybody have changed these settings succesfully?....I will appreciate any advice...

    I have an Eris on Cricket. Had it about 3 weeks. some apps are quirky in terms of connecting but the weird thing is I can receive mms no problem just cant receive them. If you disable the mobile network and open messages you can access the settings for mms. they are not greyed out and changeable. As far as them sticking I doubt it but like I said I can receive pics just cant send them. Just set name to cricket mms, MMSC: http://mms.mycricket.com.servlets/mms(basically replace vtext with mycricket), I made mms proxy 8080 and left port blank.
