You guys remind me of the bass fisherman who buys a 21ft. boat with a 225hp motor. My question is this why. The object is to get there and be able to fish once you stop.

 Who would want that small of a motor on a 21 footer??
Private course: Top speed was 119mph.
1/4 mile was 12.6
Cool!
Professional riders have been testing the VS1400 for 20 years, and yet on the very first try you managed to beat the best quarter mile time they ever recorded by over a full second! Sure you did! Really, I believe you! Honestly, I do!
Sorry, must be something to do with the rider's.....
If that is true where are the stats? Only know of two references and there not really sourced to "professional riders". Cruisers don't seem to get tested like the sport and super sport bikes. There doesn't seem to be any real good data bases on "cruiser performance" out there other than mostly anecdotal.
A lot of factors can come into play. Weather conditions (temp, humidity, etc), rider, altitude, individual bike, track conditions, etc.
2005 S83 Boulevard was close at 118.5 mph top speed and 1/4 mile at 13. 2. Gas mileage highway is just over 54 mpg, city is pretty bad.
Later Mate's
G'day! That be a mighty fine runnin' "S" !
