    My Mazda 929 wont start?

1993 Mazda 929. It's worked pretty well since I've owned it, 1 year. 206,000 miles on it. Just got a new oil change and battery.

It worked fine last night and this morning it wont start. Wont turn over, click, lights wont come on. nothing happens. I checked the fuses and they're fine. I don't think it's the battery because its pretty brand new.

    Why?? Any ideas?
Hehe. I know about cars and yes I though about the ALTERNATOR. Silly.

I'm thinking possibly the fan belt. It was squealing a little till third gear as I was accelerating last night when I drove it.

actually. being as the lights wont turn on it has nothing to do with your alternator so dont worry about that. and since your car is a 93 mazda it shouldnt be anything overriding anything. the only thing i can figure is that something drained your batery overnight, a wire could have possible came apart/melted into 2, or maybe your computer in general is going out. will anything electric work?
