Classic films you hate

So. There's talk of classic films you haven't seen. How about classic films you have seen, but hated.

I hated The Shining. It wasn't in the least bit scary - how the hell did it get an 18 rating?

I can't say I'm keen on any of Stanley Kubrick's films. He seems overrated to me. However, the classic film I absolutely hated was Apocalypse Now. I saw it when it was first released and if I hadn't been one of a large group of students who all went to see it together I would have walked out before the end. It was years before I could bear the sight of Martin Sheen.

In my opinion seriously overated films, & Edward Norton isn't as amazing as people make out, I find he lacks charisma I couldn't care about what happened to the main characters that he played in both films. Brad Pitt and Edward furlong stole the show both times. And I think both these films try too hard to be cool, the actual story is pretty dull +uninspiring after a while. I'm proplby the only one who hates these films but oh well I stand by that!

I agree on that one as well. Also couldn't stand The Matrix, although not sure that is a classic anyway.
