I have two mix breed dogs in my apt. We have the same usual routine every day; Wake up, outside for the bathroom, breakfast, and then anything in between before the bathroom once more then work. I work 3-11 most day so that's a full 8 hours where the two of them are home alone. Once I get home it outside and then it begins… Our female dog becomes this attention craving, whining, baby that HAS to be in your lap or sitting right next to you. I don’t understand why she does this only after we get home from work. Does she miss us and it takes her forever to understand that we’re home for the night? Our male dog seems to have no problems, he just sit on a couch or lies on the floor, I mean occasionally he’ll come by and put his nose under your hand so you’ll pet him but he’s no contest for her whining. What could it be and what should I do? Separation anxiety maybe?
She is 1 yr and 7 months old
