if you want to look at it that way then rap isn't even a genre, its a style. That is to say, there is rapping in hip hop
but that is a good thing to bring up

Anybody wanna hook me up with some crazy good rap tunes. Preferably the artist and the title helps me find them easier.
Some of my favs right now...
Can't Be Touched - Body Head Bangers
Download B.G. chopper city: all on you It's an old Cash Money. That's what I mainly listen to.
I like Ras Kass, Petey Pablo, Common, Goodie mob and lately I'm getting into Styles P.
Hip-hop that's more electronic and offbeat, i like DJ Cam ( a great French DJ that has remixed In a Silent Way by miles Davis).
Hip-hop that is more chillout music Dj Krush, Unkle and Nujabes is just brilliant.
Tech N9ne- The Industry is Punks
Tech N9ne- Riotmaker
Tech N9ne- Midwest Choppers
Tech N9ne- Imma Tell
Tech N9ne- Slacker
Tech N9ne- Caribou Lou
Lil Wyte- HooRAB Run Down
Not much else I listen to rap-wise anymore. Tech is about it.
I just haven't gotten around to checking them out, what album by them would you (and other fans here) recommend the most?
I'll check it out.
@AesopRocks; you know, I'm slightly embarrassed to admit it but I never honestly bothered to research the difference between Hip Hop and the actual genre of Rap.
I know, I fail.
But I think I'm more of a Hip Hop fan, given what you've said.
Also, can't believe I forgot to mention Atmosphere.
I'll check it out. Thanks
Yea, I don't have any Tech...but the Lil Wyte song is hot. Lil Wyte is mad good.
No problem guys, just giving my 2 cents.
Game Theory was decent.
Your choice on what album of theirs to listen to though, I think they are all pretty decent. Then again, I'm not an elitist music snob.
