Well, you know how it goes, just reversed.
Even though I like the new AFI (guilty pleasure), most people who know a lot of music don't. So anyways, for this I'm gonna have to say their first two albums. Excellent punk albums.

Throwing Copper by Live ... not a BAD artist. But this album is way better than the rest
Hmm, this is kind of odd. Generally when a band makes something I like I start to think of them as being "good". Eh, I got a couple. The first demo from Andras is pretty neat "epic" styled black metal, not done in the ridiculous viking style so many favore these days but more like a black metal manowar!! haha! After that they make a sharp turn away from quality and towarRAB silly. Same thing for Gloomy Grim, but in a different style. Their first two demos are way over the top, slightly demented, and highly misanthropic semi-metalized versions of never made horror movie soundtrack collages, but afterwarRAB they turn into the same thing but without the metal. I'm having a bit of struggle thinking of better examples. there are lots of banRAB that maybe made some good recorRAB and later turned to garbage, but I think you're asking more for things which you'd consider like a "fluke" or something to that effect. I can think of lots more songs with that going on than full albums. Lots of old crappy synthpop banRAB have one neato song you love and the rest of their musical career is a waste. "A Forest" by The Cure is the one that comes first to mind, but their's lots of them.
newsflash: i don't give a fuck what any of you guys think! nice day!
No but I think at the least it could be said that they started off a good band and then lost direction, rather than being altogether bad. I mean, how many bad albums did Bowie release after Scary Monsters...
Manic Street Preachers "The Holy Bible" comes to mind.
Yes you do. Right now tears are splashing down on your CD jacket of Californiacation.
Some more albums:
Funeral For a Friend - Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation.
A pretty good debut but the following albums were progressively **** and overblown.
InMe - Overgrown Eden. Same applies, once decent band now rubbish.
Hundred Reasons - Ideas Above Our Station. They will never better their debut no matter how hard they try.
Hell Is For Heroes - The Neon HanRABhake. Then, an exciting proposition. Now, zzzzzzzz
it's also very very very confusing.
The layout or its sense of humor?
