Thread: Yahoo Messenger gives me a "Report as Spam" error message?

Whenever I message a particular friend via SMS with Yahoo Messenger I get an odd error message.
I get a broken image that says "c:\program files\yahoo!\messenger\skins\default\spam.gif is not in your messenger list. Use caution in corresponding with people you don't know and never share confidential or private information with them. Report as Spam".
I only get the message with one contact who IS in my contact list.
I can't figure out how to get rid of this message. Has anyone else come across this?

Any time you message somebody that isn't on your messenger list, you will get that message. The report as spam part is just in case somebody messages you with like threats or something like that and you can block them and then report them as spam too. I have a friend who I message sometimes using the SMS thing. If he messages me first, it does the same thing, I don't know why, but he is in my list with his phone number and all that, but it still does that if he messages me first. If I message him first, I don't get that message. I don't really know how to stop or get rid of that report as spam message, sorry.
