    od button on toyota rav 4 what is it for any one help please?

    i have just got a toyota rav 4 i would like to know what o/d stands for and what it does for the car can anyone help, it is an automatic and it is on a button on the gear lever

    Overdrive. Keep it on all the time. Keeps your car in a taller gear for better fuel economy. This is useful on the highway.
